From September 16 to 18, 2025, the 64th International Textile and Light Industry Exhibition, TEXTILEGPROM, was held at Crocus Expo in Moscow. For 32 years, the exhibition has remained a mirror of the market, revealing its dynamics, trends and new opportunities. The past season once again confirmed that TEXTILEGPROM is not only a true reflection of the current state of the industry but also a key platform for shaping the future of the Russian light industry.

Display: international diversity and innovative solutions for the textile industry
In the fall of 2025, the exhibition brought together over 320 companies from 19 regions of the Russian Federation and 16 countries. Manufacturers from Iran showcased their achievements for the first time, while the home textiles section featured booths of companies from Belarus, Brazil, and Uzbekistan. Russia was well represented at the exhibition by leaders in the textile market.

The exhibition was traditionally organized into six international sections, each section is reflecting a broad range of industry trends.
Textillegmash. Equipment and technologies
This section featured two key areas. The first area was classic equipment for the garment, furniture, automotive, and soft toy industries. Sewing and embroidery machines, template machines, cutting and wet-heat processing equipment, and solutions for automating of production processes were displayed here. Participants such as Welles, PromExpert, Transmetall, Welltex, and Shveymash showcased solutions for businesses of all sizes: from tailor shops to large industrial factories, from underwear manufacturers to manufacturers of workwear and body armor.

The second area featured modern textile printing equipment, including DTF and DTG printers, sublimation and label printers, presented by Smart-T, Russcom, TechnoPrint, Textile and Technologies, and others. This confirmed the section's status as the premier showcase for textile and light industry equipment and an effective platform for finding of partners.
Technical Textiles, Nonwovens, Protective Clothing and Raw Materials
Natural and chemical fibers, yarns, threads, as well as dyes, surfactants, and processing additives from companies such as Vostokkhimvolokno, Gronitex, Nortex, Travers and others were on display. The exhibition's first display of raw material producers from Iran, including Shiva Delijan Industrial Group, a manufacturer of a wide variety of synthetic polyester fibers, and the Iran's largest polyester fiber producers and exporters, Kimia Polyester Knowledge-base Co., and Zarlif Arya Complex Co aroused particular interest.

The exhibition demonstrated high technological competence and a wide range of raw materials, confirming the important role of the Technical Textiles section as a fundamental basis for the development of the modern textile and light industry.

A specially organized space for effective networking and deal-making, supporting interaction among exhibitors. The new format enabled participants to address important challenges, from optimizing of production chains and business logistics to implementing of innovations. Exhibitors and visitors noted clear target audience navigation and quick access to relevant contacts, as well as the maximum productivity of business dialogues thanks to pre-arranged B2B meetings and thematic sessions.

Many Russian manufacturers showcased their achievements with the support of My Business regional centers. Having seen the exhibition's success, they plan to expand their stands in the future through both government support and their own investment.

The Fashion of Russia stand—a joint project of TEXTILLEGPROM and the A.N. Kosygin Russian State University generates interest among exhibitors and visitors. The project aims to support young Russian designers and serves as a kind of job fair where existing manufacturers can find talented designers.

For the first time, teams of students from Moscow's specialized colleges—future engineers, designers, technologists, tailors, and advertising specialists—worked at the exhibition site. They filmed reports on the exhibition, interviewed exhibitors and guests, and created videos and longreads. The Moscow Center for the Development of Professional Education served as the project's organizational partner.

The exhibition also featured an awards ceremony for the winners of the TEXTILLEGPROM Battle of Marketers. The winners were: VIVAT Group (Ivanovo), BASK-furnitura (Moscow), Optima Trikotazh (Ivanovo), Graf Paket (Kursk), and, for the first time in the competition's history, a foreign exhibitor – Kimia Polyester (Iran). The exhibition organizers would like to thank the competition's partners, EXPODAT, UzCotton, and ECONAD, who provided prizes for the winning companies and gifts for the managers.

The winner of the news competition was Yuri Efremov, "Textiles and Technologies".
