Federal Trade Fair TEXTILLEGPROM
PLATFORM AND ATTRACT CENTER
On February 22, 2019, the 52nd Federal Trade Fair TEXTILLEGPROM
was complete.

More than 1,500 companies from 29 countries representing more than 2,100 manufacturing and trading companies took part in 10 Salons of the Fair, consequently the Fair is the main branch Exhibition and Fair event in Russia.

It is easy to determine the success of the exhibition: more than 30,000 branch professionals mean that the visitors “vote” with their feet and work at the booths, and the Fair participants are with positive weariness and smiles.

The high rate was set by the first day of the Fair. The work was carried out constructively and efficiently at all booths. Time changes – the style of buyers’ work changes. Visitors have a lot to do in a short period of the Fair: to make an order, to find out the latest trends, to do business marketing, to take part in the Business program, to exchange contact details, to make appointments and much more.

More than 60% of visitors were registered via the Internet at the 52nd Fair – this is a telling evidence of high-quality target visitor audience.

The geography of visitors, as always, is vast: the Fair was visited by experts from more than 30 regions of the Russian Federation according to statistics. At this Fair, the tendency to expand the presence of visitors from far-flung regions is determined, such as Tyumen and Irkutsk regions, the Krasnoyarsk Territory, etc.

Participants noted the influx of new wholesalers and buyers from many cities of Russia, who came not only to inspect and familiarize themselves with the exposition, but for the specific purpose of contracts concluding for the supply of products to the Russian regions directly at the Fair.

New technologies, high-tech equipment and materials, fabrics, fibers, threads, yarn, accessories, clothing, home interior products and much more. The experience of global and Russian companies was collected and presented at the 52nd Federal Trade Fair TEXTILLEGPROM.

The TEXTILLEGPROM Trade Fairs is a dynamic mechanism that is constantly changing in response to the market.

There were changes in the exposition of the Textillegmash Salon – the number of presented equipment for knitting production, as well as for digital and screen printing increased. The range of sewing and embroidery equipment has expanded.

The increase in the range and space in the Knitted Fabrics Salon is a reflection of the global trend to increase the production of knitwear. The exposition of premium level textiles was expanded in the Home Textiles Salon. The Fabrics and Accessories Salon was also defined by new participants, by expansion of the exposition and the range of: fabrics for working clothes, fabrics for home textiles making, fabrics for suitwear and dressing groups.

The Business program of the Fair is based taking into account the interests of participants and visitors: sales, exports, innovations, digitalization. The exchange of contact details, the appointment of meetings, the creation of collaborations – all this has already become the norm. The meaningful result of the Business program events is confirmed by the complete filling of the Conference Rooms.

At the workshop, the executive director of Alibaba.com service company, Dmitry Haskel, talked about how the exporters have to properly prepare when entering the markets of other countries using an electronic sales channel. The secrets of the ranking algorithms of Alibaba.com search engine were also touched on.

“Compared to last year, the interest of the industry in online commerce and online export has grown significantly” – said Armen Manukyan, Project Manager for the development of digital services, REC Center. “The audience began to ask more private questions than general questions on online exports.”

For companies participating in government procurement, experts of ANO SOYUZEKSPERTIZA held a workshop to confirm the production of goods in Russia.

The All-Russian contest of textile and light industry products “Made in Russia” was held for the twelfth time. The judges at the contest are experienced experts of ANO SOYUZEKSPERTIZA of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation (SOEX). The contest is held only among Russian manufacturers in the following product groups: technical textiles, yarn, threads, home textiles, clothing, knitwear, underwear, children's products.

Mercury LLC, Melanzh-Textile Trading House, Barysheva Maria Vadimovna, UZOR PJSC, Vyshnevolotsky KhBK, Union of Textile Companies, SN-Textile LLC, TEKSTILOPTOM LLC, Thermopol LLC are among the winners of the contest.

Forum on innovation and digitalization in the textile and light industry has once again become a place where science is connected with production. Co-organizers of the Forum are the Roskhimreaktiv Association and Russian Union of Chemists. The Forum was attended by Ivanovo State Polytechnic University, RSU named after A.N. Kosygin, RCTU named after D.I. Mendeleev, St. Petersburg State University, FRP, INPC TLP OJSC, Meridian JSC, Travers NPF, ECOS-1 JSC, etc.

The practical conference “Application of digital technologies in drawing of a pattern on fabric” was attended by regular participants of the Fair: Allart Service, World Printing Systems, RussCom, Smart-T, Textiles and Technologies, Solstudio Textile Group, etc. At the end of the conference, the moderator had on the table a list of questions to be discussed at the autumn conference – this is the real result of the work!

The TEXTILLEGPROM platform is gaining momentum and today is a place of attraction for industry participants. Within the framework of the TEXTILLEGPROM Fair, a meeting of the Supervisory Board on the organization of a sectoral test center of light industry on the basis of INPC TLP was held. The Supervisory Board was attended by E.V. Ryzhov, Director of the Department of Light Industry and Timber Industry at the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, E.A. Korenkov, Deputy Director of the Department of Light Industry and Timber Industry of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, M.A. Protasov, Head of Roskachestvo, member of the Board of Directors of INPC TLP OJSC and representatives of major retail chains (Decathlon, IKEA, METRO, Detsky Mir, etc.).

The TEXTILLEGPROM platform is a great place for students to learn and practice.

On February 21, more than 120 students of the RSU named after A.N. Kosygin visited the Fair within the framework of the special project of the TEXTILLEGPROM Fair – “Our Future”. Students were shown the possibilities of the newest textile equipment, the leaders of manufacturing companies talked to them. Students took part in master classes on work on modern equipment: seamless technologies, screen and digital printing, sewing and cutting equipment, etc. Students took part in the study of technology, in working with modern fabrics and accessories, etc.

Students of RCTU named after D.I. Mendeleev and RSU named after A.N. Kosygin (Chemical-Technological Institute) took part in the work of the section “Dyes and Textile Auxiliaries” of the Forum on Innovations and Digitalization in Textile and Light Industry. Two events of the Forum Business Program and the Practical Conference "The use of digital technologies in pattern application on fabric" aroused particular interest among future industry professionals.
