RESULTS OF TEXTILEGPROM. SPRING 2023
Spring is a renewal, so on February 28 – March 3, everyone involved in fashion and clothing production rushed to the TEXTILLEGPROM Federal Trade Fair of Goods and Equipment for Textile and Light Industry. As usual, the exhibition delighted visitors with a huge range of raw materials, non-woven materials, equipment, fabrics, accessories, clothing and home textiles.
The Fair was visited by more than 16,347 people for 4 days, 256 companies presented their products. 7,500 square meters of space in pavilions 55 and 57 of VDNH were occupied by booths of companies from Belarus, Brazil, China, the United Arab Emirates, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan and South Korea.
“We are united by communication, and I come to TEXTILLEGPROM precisely for this” – said Konstantin Bandorin, General Director of INPC TLP JSC. – “There are a lot of specialists from different fields here, this aspect distinguishes the exhibition from more narrowly focused ones. Here I can get information in many areas: non-woven fabrics, accessories, marketing, creativity, and so on.”
Fabrics, garment, accessories and home textiles
A variety of fabrics, threads, furs, braids, all kinds of accessories are in the 57th pavilion. The flow of people and communication did not stop for a minute. Visitors are also attracted by stands where home textiles are presented: towels, curtains, bed linen, bedspreads. Here you can even see lovingly made beds, racks with bath towels, blankets – everything that creates comfort in the house.
“Impressions from the Fair are positive: new meetings, new clients. Here we find out trends, customer requests, communicate with regular customers. This is a very convenient platform, specialists from all over Russia come here, and therefore there is an opportunity to meet with the maximum number of people” – said Konstantin Solodov, General Director of the Sewing Palitra Company, which presented a huge range of sewing accessories at its booth.
“Our products aroused great interest among visitors and colleagues, and this feedback is very important for us” – added Alexander Protasevich, General Director of the Belarusian Len-Ivanovo Company. – “We received a charge of emotions that will inspire us in the coming months. Thanks to the organizers for their help and support!”

Elena Rychagova, owner of her own clothing brand Balanceclo: “I came from Perm for the first time at such a major exhibition to see and touch the range of fabrics and accessories with my hands. There is a huge variety here! I'm taking samples and contacts with me."
Made in Moscow
A special place at the TEXTILLEGPROM Fair was occupied by the Made in Moscow booth, where Moscow entrepreneurs showed examples of their products, many of them for the first time. In total, more than 30 brands were presented: clothing, home textiles, handmade accessories, special equipment. The city authorities support the initiatives of the capital’s textile workers, and “Made in Moscow” is a program of the Moscow Government to support local brands, which was launched in September 2022.
Stylish and comfortable clothes were presented by the Moscow brands MAVIE, Army of Russia, LO, Russian Fur, Venetta, BRUTAGE, TXT, Nanomic and many others. The Moscow brand Vamvigvam, which works only with high-quality natural and safe materials, exhibited interior items for children's rooms at the Made in Moscow collective stand, and the Warm Wind brand, which employs experienced batik (hand-painted fabric) artists, showed painted masterpieces-accessories – scarves, shawls, stoles.
Entrepreneur Svetlana Karpushina demonstrated a hand operated felting machine that her husband invented and designed: “I really like this format of participation in the exhibition, this is a gift for small entrepreneurs like me, because I cannot afford to participate in such a large and well-known Fair as TEXTILEGPROM.”
The Hollofiber brand showed its non-woven products at the booth, because it is universal and allows you to create textile products not only in large batches at the facilities of the largest enterprises, but also at home without special skills.
“The Made in Moscow stand drew attention to the significant opportunities for enterprises and private entrepreneurs to produce civilian and dual-use products, to organize self-employment of the population of the metropolis, and to create additional jobs in the light industry sector. We look forward to continued interaction. We express our interest in the further growth of Moscow companies and light industry entrepreneurs” said Vladislav Ivanov, Project Development Director of Thermopol-Moscow LLC, Hollofiber®.
Equipment, production technologies and raw materials, nonwovens, technical textiles
Equipment for the production in textile and light industry was presented in the 55th pavilion: sewing machines buzzed, machines for printing on fabric made monotonous sounds, demonstrating their advantages. Each company tried to stand out, to attract the attention of visitors: bright thread spools and fabric samples with incredible prints adorned stands with machines.
“The market has a demand for new advanced equipment, and we cannot but respond to it” said Yulia Smirnova, General Director of PromExpert. – “We have been participating in this Fair since the opening of our company, and in September we are planning a very large stand, more than 150 sq. meters – we will present more complex equipment. Today, customers come with a specific refurbishment request, which is good. We also send new managers to TEXTILLEGPROM, so that they gain experience in communicating with customers face to face and confidently represent our company. There is also a moment of team building in this, such events unite the team very much.”
By the end of the first day, several visitors were ready to buy equipment from PromExpert and other companies directly from the booth.
“TEXTILLEGPROM is the most productive exhibition in which we participate. Compared to others, it gives the biggest output, so now we decided not to spread out, but to participate only here, and took a large booth. It is much more efficient” said Vadim Roychenko, General Director of Importmash.

“TEXTILLEGPROM has always kept pace with the times. I remember this exhibition from the 2000s – the fashion industry market was developing rapidly. I remember how wholesalers went into retail, intuitively trying to find effective ways to develop, often using the trial and error method. It was a complex process, and at that time the Fair helped companies a lot to understand the latest technologies - this request was worked out in a high-quality business program. The business program thundered, there were not enough seats in the hall! – said Anush Gasparyan, co-founder and commercial director of Fashion Consulting Group. – Each season of TEXTILLEGPROM marked the issues that were important at the moment. The business program included the best speakers - industry professionals who shared their successful practical experience, seminars were held by brilliant specialists of the industry market. Without exaggeration, we can say that TEXTILLEGPROM is one of the most relevant industry exhibitions in our field.”
The official organizer of the TEXTILLEGPROM Fair – Textilexpo JSC thanks all participants and visitors for fruitful work, optimism and interesting communication.
