The 46th Federal Trade Fair for Textile and Light Industry Goods and Equipment, Textillegprom, was held at the 69thand 75thpavilions of the VDNH Exhibition Center in Moscow on 16-19 February 2016. The fair was successful as always.

The organizers: Textilexpo CJSC, Roslegprom JSC and RLP-Yarmarka LLC.

The Federal  Trade Fair, Textillegprom, is a major event of the textile and light industries and a primary meeting of industry professionals.

The February event attracted 1,976 companies from Russia and 29 countries of the world.

The Fair was visited by 35,763 industry professionals from 14 countries within four days.

The opening ceremony  was attended by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of  the Russian Federation Viktor Yevtukhov, Chairman of the Industry Committee of the State Duma of the Russian Federal Assembly Sergei Sobko, Executive Vice President, Board Member of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Viktor Cherepov, President of the Russian Union of Commodity Producers Oleg Soskovets, Vice President of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce Suren Vardanyan, businessmen, representatives of industry associations, education establishments and trade unions.

For more than 23 years, Textillegprom Federal Trade Fairs have been the largest textile industry events in Russia and Eastern Europe.

Textillegprom Trade Fairs are the best platform to establish and develop business contacts between Russian and foreign entrepreneurs. This is the only event involving every leader of the Russian textile and light industry market.

 knitwear THE SALON OF KNITWEAR was attended by 358 companies from 8 countries, among them Svitanak (Belarus), TOP Grand LLC,  TPF Sharkan-Knitwear JSC,  DOMO,  Hosiery and Knitting Factory LLC, Kira Plastinina Manufacture LLC, Kupalinka, Polesye, RUSINTEX, etc.
   
 deti THE CHILDREN’S SALON presented 67 companies from 7 countries, among them ТМPuZZiki, GLASMANTRADELLC, ELITE CLASSIC Trade House, Minimak i Ya LLC, Stilyazh Company, Veles-Opt, SLAVITA TD, Yunona Sewing Company, ALYERA, and many others.
   
 garment THE SALON OF GARMENT AND ACCESSORIES was attended by 312 companies from 14 countries: Donna Saggia, Fashion House, KorolevaXL, Max Expromt, Nicolo Angi, Madzerini, Samange, Truvor, Jean & Paraskeva, Diboni and others.
   
 tlm THE TEXTILLEGMASH MACHINERY SALON had 58 participants from 6 countries, including market majors Transmetal LLC, KNIT Group, Shveimash Company, VELLES Group, SportTex Company LLC,  AT-Design, Velltex, Herber Technology Solution LLC, and others.

As always, the Fair had highly topical program, comprising of a business forum, seminars, roundtables, presentation and interesting contests.

A business forum, “Cooperation between Manufacturers from Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan and Russian Companies in the Light Industry,” was a central event of the 46th Fair.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan Imomuddin Sattorov opened the forum.

Other speakers at the forum were Board Member (Minister) of the Eurasian Economic Commission of the Eurasian Economic Union Danil Ibrayev, Head of the Light Industry Department of the Kyrgyz Economy Ministry Fatima Sadamkulova, Program Coordinator of the Eastern Europe and Central Asia Department of the International Trade Center (ICT) Armen Zargaryan, President of the Kyrgyz Textile Industry Association (Soyuztextil) Yelena Dobryak, etc.

The business forum was attended by more than 100 delegates from Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Germany, including company and factory executives, representatives of wholesale and retail companies, large retail chains and wholesale trade centers (5 Karmanov, Modny Kontinent LLC, Melon Fashion Group, TechSys Group, Tyumensky TsUM LLC, Shupet LLC), suppliers of light industry equipment, representatives of higher education establishments and the media.

‘Financial Support to Children’s Goods Industry: Programs, Instruments and Access Mechanisms’ Seminar was held on 17 February, within the framework of the Children’s Salon. The event was organized by the Association of Children’s Goods Industry Enterprises and Textilexpo JSC.

President of the Association of Children’s Goods Industry Enterprises Antonina Tsitsulina and Deputy Director of the Russian Industry and Trade Ministry’s Department on the Development of Domestic Trade, Light Industry and Consumer Market Yelena Viskova, who ex-officio supervises the Department on Children’s Goods Industry, were the seminar speakers.

The all-Russia contest of textile and light industry goods, “Made in Russia”, was held for the sixth time.

The 46th Federal Wholesale Trade Fair Textillegprom also hosted the 12th Youth Contest of Designer Projects, “Perspective”.

The contest was organized by Textilexpo JSC and the Moscow State University of Design and Technology.

More than 50 magazines and web-based media provided media support to the 46th Federal  Trade Fair, TEXTILLEGPROM. Information and advertisement resources of 15 exhibition centers from Russian regions, partners of Textilexpo JSC, were used.

Polls of the exhibitors once again demonstrated that 98% of the participants were satisfied with the visitor turnout and quality, and more than 80% reaffirmed their intention to attend the 47th Textillegprom Fair.
